Jenin is a small town located at the foot of Jabal Nablus, in the northernmost hills of the West Bank. Historically, Jenin has experienced a great deal of hardship and conflict, but regardless, it is known for its perseverance in the face of adversity. It hosts a number of community projects such as Freedom Theatre, Jenin Cinema, and the Strings of Freedom orchestra. It is also a trade center of fresh produce from nearby towns and villages.
